TINEMATTE

Heating cable mat for thawing ground melting snow and ice. The mat is connected via the plug coming with the product to a standard 230V (Schuko) socket. The mat is particularly useful if you need thaw the ground prior to excavation. It can also be used at entrances to remove snow and ice, to melt frozen pipes, wells orsimilar. 

The heating cable mat is manufactured using a special PVC compound integrated with a nylon woven net. The insulation in the mat (directing the heatflow downwards) is made of  self-extinguishing foam plastic. The mat as a built in protection against overtemperature, power will be interrupted if the mat exceeds 60 degrees Celsius.

The mat is not intended for permanent installations, and the mat shall not have a permanent connection to the power supply.

Energy consumption is low and equals about 8 kWh/m²/day
