Design

LANmark-6A EVO 2.0 is the second generation of Aginode’s previous Category 6A EVO connector, manufactured and tested to the latest ISO/IEC 11801 and ANSI/TIA-568 standards and designed to meet or exceed the stringent quality and performance criteria needed to support all applications up to 500 MHz, including 10 Gigabit Ethernet.
The LANmark-6A EVO 2.0 connector accepts both solid and stranded copper conductors, with wire sizes from AWG26 to AWG22, supporting all relevant cable types.
With its compact size, similar to the first generation of EVO connectors, the EVO 2.0 facilitates installation in shallow floor- and wall boxes.
1.27 micron (50 microinch) gold plated front contacts offer superior mechanical durability, ensuring at least 2500 plug insertion cycles and supporting Power over Ethernet transmission up to 90W without degrading effect.
A full metal die-cast housing offers the LANmark EVO 2.0 connector immunity against Alien Crosstalk and Electromagnetic Interferences.

In conjunction with LANmark-6A cable and patch cords, the LANmark EVO 2.0 connector supports all applications specified up to 500 MHz including but not limited to:

Installation

The EVO 2.0 connector is a one-piece design, with a wire organiser as sole accessory, guaranteeing infallible management of the twisted pairs.
Simply closing the connector rear covers ensures fast and effortless IDC termination without the need for any tools.
The installation finishes with laying the cable drain wire in its place in the mass contact clip and fastening the rear around the strain relief with the cable tie supplied.

The EVO 2.0 connector, with its Snap-In format, is compatible with all LANmark Snap-In structural hardware, such as:

LANmark Snap-In 24 port patch panels (fixed, sliding and angled) - not compatible with LANmark 48 port 1U panel
LANmark Zone Distribution Boxes of 6-port and 12-port
LANmark Snap-In outlet modules (UK, US, European and German style)

The connector is supplied in a plastic-free packaging of 24.

Performance

LANmark EVO 2.0 connector meets or exceeds the requirements for Category 6A / Class EA as described in ISO/IEC 11801, IEC 60603-7-51 and ANSI/TIA 568.2-D.
In conjunction with LANmark-6A cable, it supports all 2, 3 and 4 connector models as specified in these standards, as well as short link and channel configurations, which makes it also an ideal solution for Data Centres, avoiding cable length excess in the racks.
