LED-lighting in Langhus

Background:

The existing lighting in the production hall in Langhus plant was ready for replacement. Layouts for light switches did not match the production lines, and there was no possibility of adjusting the brightness based on temporary need. All or nothing at all, was the choice offered. 

What we've done:

Existing lamps have been replaced with LED lamps. Area sensors are installed to provide the exact lighting needed. 

Results:

Power consumption has decreased by 10%.

LED lamps provide better working light, which makes the workplace safer and affects employees in a good way.

LED lamps last longer, do not need to be replaced as often, and they do not require the same amount of power. In this way, maintenance costs and resource use are kept down.
