Design

  1. Conductor Circular, non compacted, stranded aluminium conductor according to SS 424 08 07 type FeAl with cross section area  62 mm², 99 mm² . Circular, non compacted, stranded aluminium alloy conductor according to IEC 60104 type A with cross section area  99 mm². Circular, non compacted, stranded aluminium alloy conductor according to SS 424 08 12 type AlMgSi with cross section area 157mm² or 241 mm².The conductor is longitudinally water tight according to the swedish standard SS 424 14 17.
  2. Conductor screening Extruded semiconducting rubber compound.
  3. Insulation  Polyethylene (PE).
  4. Insulation screening Extruded black UV-protective polyethylen (PE) with carbonblack content of min 2%. The surface is embossed with the following text: i.e. "NEXANS GS BLL 62 FEAL TRESKIKT" year month + metremarking.

    Lifemark(TM) recycling marking

    The external surface of the outer sheath is embossed with a text which specifies all components in the polymers and prepares the cable for future recycling.

    Testing

    The conductor is tested in accordance with SS 424 14 63 (Draft 3).

    Quality system

    Designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with ISO 9001.

    Environmental management system

    The activities at our plant in Grimsås are certified to ISO 14001 and registered according to EMAS.
