The cable consists of plain, annealed copper conductors with foamed polyethylene (PE) insulation (cables with 2 pairs have solid PE insulation). The cable core is filled with petroleum jelly and wrapped with polyester tape (when more than 2 pairs).
The cable has a figure-of-8 design with a black PE sheath over the suspension wire and the cable core.
