QFCB MUD is a fibre optic cable, applicable to shipboard and offshore topside units. The cable has the following properties:

- High data transmission capacity
- Very good mechanical properties, suitable for tough environments
- Halogen free, low smoke and toxicity, low acid gas emission during fire
- DNV-GL certification.

Construction

• FRP : Fibre reinforced plastic.
• Loose Tube : Gel filled  PBT tubes(Polybutylene Terephtalate,filled with gel) individual wrapped with Mica Tape
• Number of fiber per tube:  2~24C max 4/ 25 ~ 48C max 8
