Safe installation and protection
Being critical elements in any submarine transmission system, it is extremely important that cables and umbilicals are installed properly. Specialized transport and laying vessels
Developments in the laying of long and heavy submarine cables at greater depths, have made it necessary to employ larger and more specialized transport and laying vessels built especially for that purpose. Special navigation equipment, dynamic positioning and sophisticated cable laying machinery have been developed to secure accurate positioning of laying objects and proper handling during laying operations.
